Pan Am Championship continues with Argentina, Brazil holding lead

After three days of matches at the Pan American Senior Women's Championship, Argentina and Brazil remained in the lead of their respective groups:

Group A

1. Argentina

2. Dominican Republic

3. Uruguay

Group B

1. Brazil

2. Chile

3. Mexico

4. Paraguay

Brazil and the Dominican Republic as well as Chile and Argentina face off in the semifinals today; the finals take place Saturday and determine which Pan American teams qualify for the World Championships, Dec. 2009 in China.
